The section hosted its 22nd Annual Conference this April in Austin with the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. In addition to CLEs, leadership training, and networking, the section presented the following awards: Best Under 40—Julie Allen, Christine Hoang, and Hao Ni; Affiliate of the Year—Dallas Asian American Bar Association; Pro Bono Attorney— Teresa Messer; Outstanding Mentor— Andrea Tran; Champion of Diversity— Hope Shimabuku; and Justice Wellington Chew—Gina Shishima. The Annual In-House Counsel Reception and Fireside Chat featured Toni Nguyen and Shishima and was moderated by Albert Tan.
